EAST PROVIDENCE - Suzanne Y. (Gervais) Jensen, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Waterview Villa in East Providence, where she had been a resident for the last five years. She was previously a resident of Rumford and Pawtucket. Born in Central Falls on October 13, 1939, to the late Armand and Mary Jeanne (Simpson) Gervais, Suzanne was the wife of the late Joseph R. Jensen. After raising her children, she worked for many years as a pharmacy technician until her retirement.

Suzanne leaves three children, Robin Jensen and husband Vincent Urdi of Raynham, MA, Jon Jensen and husband Richie of Norwich, CT, and Kristi Jensen of Providence, RI.

She cherished her five grandchildren; Nicholas Urdi (Cathleen), Anna Urdi, Halle Joppy (Kyree), Sage Jensen and Taj Jensen. In addition to her immediate family, Suzanne was the sister of the late Roland Gervais with whom she had a spirited, yet loving relationship.

Suzanne enjoyed a good crime drama, socializing, a strong G & T, bird watching and the Food Network. Her sense of humor and sarcasm were a constant source of entertainment to those who knew her.

We take solace in the knowledge that Suzanne's journey was a full one, marked by the love she gave and the love she received. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the immeasurable contributions she made to our lives. Suzanne's memory will forever be cherished, and her presence deeply missed. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the same love she so freely gave throughout her remarkable life.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. She will be buried in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, at a later date.
