Thelma M. Patterson

CUMBERLAND - Thelma M. (Ryan) Patterson, 91, of Cumberland and formerly of Lincoln, passed away peacefully Saturday,September 24, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late James A. Patterson.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Thomas F. and Violet (Maxwell) Ryan, she had lived in Lincoln for over 50 years before moving to Cumberland one year ago.
Mrs. Patterson was a sales clerk at Apex, Inc., Pawtucket for 30 years before retiring in 1992.
She was a member of Christ Church, Lincoln and a member of its Altar Guild. She was a former member of the Lincoln Manor Tenants Association and a member of the AARP.
She is survived by one son, John T. Guertin and his wife, Linda of Sterling, CT; one granddaughter, Deborah Godson of Edmond, OK; two great grandchildren, Jack Godson and Brittany Krahenbohl; two great great granddaughters, Evelynn and Natasha Krahenbohl; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Raymond Guertin, the grandmother of the late Michael Bourbeau, and the sister of the late Thomas F. Ryan and James A. Ryan.
Her funeral will be held Friday, September 30 at 10 A.M. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Requiem Eucharist at 11 A.M. in Christ Church, 1643 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
