Thomas R. Walker Sr.

BURRILLVILLE - Thomas R. Walker Sr., of Pascoag entered his eternal rest on February 14, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was blessed with over 49 years of happy marriage to his loving wife Arlene A. (Dunn) Walker.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Carlton J. & B. Veronica (Gill) Walker and brother of the late Carlton J. Walker Jr. and Barbara Walker.
An avid car enthusiast, Thomas received his B.S. in civil engineering from URI. He worked in construction and public works for many years, including owning his own company, Mark I Corporation. He retired as Chief Engineer of the RI Water Resources Board in 2005. He was a communicant of St. James Church in Manville for 37 years before moving to Pascoag.
In addition to his wife Arlene, he is survived by his three loving children: son Thomas R. Walker Jr. and his wife Michelle of Pascoag, daughter Alyssa A. Townsend and her husband Russell of Danielson, CT and daughter Sarah A. Walker of NH. His legacy will live on in his six adoring grandchildren: Abigail, Evan, Aaron, Natalie, Austin and Morgan, and many nieces & nephews. Thomas always said he had no idea if he would achieve Heaven or Hell, as he had many friends in either place. A man with a smile and a story for anyone he met, he enjoyed 83 years of life on this earth and tried to leave this world with happy memories. He is always loved and will be ever missed.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 9 AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Good Help Church, 1063 Victory Highway, Mapleville. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, 661 Prospect St. Pawtucket. Calling hours are Monday from 5 to 8 PM.
