Veronica Cecchini Obituary

PAWTUCKET - Veronica R. Cecchini, 96, passed away on January 3, 2017 at Linn Health Care Center in East Providence. Veronica was born to Ferruccio (Frank) and Attilia Cecchini in Pawtucket, where she lived and worked for 90 years. She was best known as "Ronnie", an avid card player and sports fan who was quick to laugh and enjoyed cracking jokes of her own.
She was pre-deceased by her siblings Raymond and Leo Cecchini, Irene Doane and Leatrice Fay. Veronica is survived by her nephews, James Doane and his wife, Jeannine; Robert Cecchini and his wife Donna; and nieces, Deborah Doane and her husband, Brian McDermott; Kathleen Fay Botty and her husband Jay; as well as her loving cousins: Arlene Cockayne, her husband Bill; Frank Bottis; and Ralph Bachini.
Veronica was laid to rest in a private burial at Mount Saint Mary cemetery in Pawtucket.
