Viola A. Carpenter

LINCOLN - Viola A. (Coppola) Carpenter, 90, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Holiday Retirement Home, Lincoln. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund S. "Ted" Carpenter.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Antonio and Rosina (Caputo) Coppola, she had lived in Lincoln for the past 59 years.
Mrs. Carpenter was an accountant at the former McConnell & Carpenter Company, Pawtucket for many years before retiring.
She was a member of Pawtucket Country Club.
She is survived by her loving children, Susan E. Carpenter of Lincoln and Edmund S. "Ted" Carpenter of Harrisville; one sister, Mary Leonti and one sister-in-law, Barbara Coppola, both of North Providence; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edith Sloan, Carolyn Silva, John Coppola and Carmine Coppola.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, December 15 at 9 A.M. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Jude's Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
