William C. Hunt

CENTRAL FALLS - William C. Hunt, 93, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Gertrude R. (Gaudette) Hunt for 73 years. Born in Phenix City, Alabama, he was a son of the late Clifford G. and Ruth I. (Phillips) Hunt.
Bill was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II, Korea and the Vietnam Era. He worked as an electronics technician at American Insulated Wire Co., for many years until his retirement. Bill was a member of the Fleet Reserve; American Legion and the VFW. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. Above all, Bill was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his loving wife, Bill leaves a daughter, Sandra L. Brissette and her husband, Aime of Pawtucket; three grandchildren, William Brissette, Mark Brissette and Dawn Valentine and her husband, Scott; five great-grandchildren, Trevor Hodde and his wife, Kelsey, Marissa Valentine, Jared Valentine, Mark Brissette, Jr. and Meghann Brissette. He was the brother of the late Dorothy Hunt, Jack Hunt and Ann Harrelson.
VISITATION will begin on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by Services at Noon at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private.
