William E. Jacques Jr.

PAWTUCKET - William E. Jacques, Jr. formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at his home in Flagler Beach, FL. He was the husband of Janet (Lemoie) Walsh - Jacques. He was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late William E. and Marion (Ledoux) Jacques and lived most of his life in the Blackstone Valley until moving to Florida in 2004.
Bill was a jeweler until retirement and a man of many talents, he did many home improvement projects. He was an avid gardener and loved taking walks with his dog, Willie.
In addition to his wife he leaves his stepchildren Deborah and her husband David Laquidara of Attleboro, Michael and his wife Sandra Walsh of Cumberland, and Lisa and her husband Todd Kiefer of Plainfield, CT, 2 sisters Florence Denelle of Hyannis, MA and Marion Fischbach of Brewster, MA; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
His funeral will be held from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresas Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, 359 Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket. Calling hours in the funeral home on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Research Hospital for Children in his memory would be appreciated.
