Amy Crane Obituary

Amy G. Kauzlarich-Crane, a compassionate and ambitious individual, breathed life into every room she entered. Born on May 7, 1971, in Hinsdale, Illinois, Amy was an example of reliability and support in her community and amongst her loved ones. Her life was a testament to her unwavering dedication and resilience, qualities that marked her service as the District Coordinator for Emergency Medical Services at Advocate Sherman Hospital. Amy's empathy and commitment were not only evident in her professional life but also in her personal relationships and hobbies.

Amy, a lover of dressage horses, was a professional rider who found solace and joy in riding and showcasing horses and working on her acreage in Harvard, IL. Her passion extended beyond the arena as she was an ardent participant in Rendezvous, snowmobiling, ATV's, and enjoyed deer hunting. In addition to her hobbies, Amy was a prominent figure in her community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Harvard Fire District and EMS. Her commitment to her work and her community shone through her teaching of nursing and paramedic education in the Greater Elgin Area, an achievement that showcased her ambitious nature.

Amy Crane lived a life filled with passion, commitment, and love for her family, friends, and community. As we remember her life, we encourage you to share your memories and upload photos to Amy's memorial page, honoring her vibrant spirit and the extraordinary woman that she was.

Amy is survived by her parents, Martin and Alice Kauzlarich, sister Laura Kauzlarich, nieces and nephews Nicholas Mizaur (Hattie), Jessica Packard (Louis), Jonathan Mizaur (Sarina), and Katelyn Mizaur, and special friend Rodney Flom and his sons.

Celebration of Life to be announced in the future.
