Lucas J. Forrestal

Lucas James Forrestal, 31, of Beloit, WI, left this world too soon on May 7, 2025 due to sudden complications from Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) syndrome, a rare genetic condition he was unaware he had. Born and raised in Beloit, WI, Lucas had many passions whether it was music, hockey, snowboarding, hanging out with friends, or family he approached life with enthusiasm and a contagious smile. He enjoyed making people laugh and was very loyal to his family and friends. Lucas's unexpected passing has left his family and friends heartbroken, yet deeply grateful for the time they had with him. Lucas leaves behind a legacy of resilience, kindness and selflessness. Survivors include his father, Brian Forrestal; siblings, Geoffrey Premo and Andrew Forrestal; numerous relatives and friends who will forever miss his presence. He was predeceased by his mother, Jacqueline O'Brien. A Funeral service for Lucas will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Randy Wandell officiating. Visitation of remembrance will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Sunday in the funeral home. Lucas's earthly story ended mid chapter, but through four simple words - "I'm an organ donor" he authored an epilogue more powerful than we could imagine. Today, somewhere, someone is alive because Lucas lived.
