Jo Miller Obituary
JO ANN MILLER, 67, of Elkview was called home to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 21, 2024, where she was reunited with her precious grandson, Brinley Michael.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James & Alma Kinder; brothers, Dennis Kinder, Ronald Kinder, and Ray "Radar" Kinder.
Jo Ann was a wonderful wife, mother and mamaw who was always there when we needed her the most, offering advice, support and love in abundance. She was a friend to many and she was a cherished member of the community leaving behind a legacy of strength, courage, and kindness. Jo Ann lived her life for the Lord and was a perfect example of a faithful Christian. She taught and showed how to love endlessly. To know her was to love her.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Michael Miller; son, Michael (Becky) Miller; daughter, Melissa Miller (Elliott White); brothers, Jimmy (LouAnn) Kinder and Bob Kinder; sister, Betty Bays; grandchildren, Wesley Miller, McKinley Miller, and Jacob Hoover; and her best friend Patty Anderson. Along with many nieces, nephews, family, friends and neighbors.
The family would like to thank Dr. Winter, Sam Gelnett NP, and their oncology team at Cleveland Clinic for their wonderful care the last 4 years. Also, all providers and nurses that cared for her the last 5 weeks during her stay in Cleveland Clinic.
The service will begin 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Al Mendez and Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Family Cemetery, Blue Creek.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are in the care of Hafer Funeral Home, 50 North Pinch Road, Elkview.
