Sherry Hanson Obituary
SHERRY LYNN HANSON, 61, of Charleston, passed away January 9, 2020, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, following a long illness.
She was a homemaker and attended Walnut Gap Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her son, Bobby Joe Hanson; brother, Terry Wilson; and parents, Clarence Paul and Drema Stuart Wilson.
Surviving are her husband, Joe Hanson; daughters and son-in-law, Tera Hanson and Travis Paxton, Amanda and Jason Crowder; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Jeannie Wilson, Timmy and Michele Wilson; sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Danny Jones, all of Charleston; grandchildren, Andrew and Bradley Crowder, Oscar, Gracie and Max Hanson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 13, at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle, W.Va., with Pastor Gregg Reese officiating. Interment will follow in Cline Hollow Cemetery, Campbells Creek. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Monday.

I would like to take a second and thank all who have posted such wonderful things about a wonderful lady. God brought Sherry into my life 47 years ago and we spent 43 years happily married. She not only was my wife but my best friend. She always had our children, grandchildren and my best interest at heart. My life now has a hole that cant be filled, but I take great solitude in knowing she is at peace and celebrating Gods goodness with her parents, grandparents and mostly Bobby Joe. Ill miss you every day for the rest of my life. Rest well my dear and know that we will meet again in Glory.

Ive known Sherry for a few years she always had a smile on her face we got to know each other well she was such a great woman always ask about my family and husband after his heart surgery she even gave him a nick name (stormtrooper) what I would do to see and talk to her again. Heaven has gained an angel Sherry will be missed by many she was loved by many. Sherry and Joe always made you feel like family Im so glad we reconnected with each other after a few years not seeing each other it was as though we never missed a beat I will miss and love her she was a true friend. I have known Sherry and the family for many, many years. Sherry was a warm hearted, very caring friend. She and I have chatted many long hours into the early morning hours on facebook. I will miss Sherry very much. Rest in peace my dear friend. I shall miss you.

So so sorry to hear that Sherry is gone. We visited with her a few times before she passed and she was still the caring and fun loving Sherry we grew up with. She will be missed.
