FAIRBORN — K. Keith Ferrell, age 75 of Fairborn, passed away Monday October 19, 2015. He was born May 29, 1940 in Five Points, Ohio, the son of the late Leota (Swan) Ferrell and Kessel Ferrell. Keith was a teacher at Greene County Vocational School, was employed with the NHRA and IHRA, and as an inspector for NCR for over 20 years. He also served as Vice-President of Hedman Headers in Alpharetta, GA and World Products in Long Island, NY. He enjoyed drag racing and street rods. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Ferrell Oberhofer; and a brother, Fred H. Ferrell. His is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia; son, Tim (Therese) Ferrell; daughter, Teri (Bubba) Sewell; 7 grandchildren, Samantha (Alan) Martin, Joseph Ferrell, Matthew Mowery, Melissa Mowery, Ashley Oberhofer, Ryan Sewell, Jared Sewell; 2 great-grandchildren, Abbigail Ferrell and Joseph Ferrell; sister, Betty Lee Kouse; and a son-in-law, Jim Oberhofer. A funeral service will be held on Friday October 23, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.
