XENIA Paul Palmer Gilbert born Jan 17, 1976 Transitioned to glory Tuesday Jan 23, at 11:28 am in the VA Hospital in Dallas TX, he was an Incredible individual. He served in both the Navy and the Marines. He earned a degree in accounting from Central state University and pledged and was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He served as Commander of the American Legion in Xenia Ohio for many years. He was an active member of United AME church in Xenia before illness required he relocate to Dallas to be closer to his children to get the care he needed. There is so much I can say about this Great man. He leaves behind his cherished loving wife Irene Gilbert of 58 years, 2 lovely daughters Elmira (Johnny) Gates, Gladys Leavell of Dallas TX. Three sons Arthur (Christina) Mack of Xenia, Ohio, Johnny (Jeanette)Mack Of Dallas TX, And Paul Gilbert of Indianapolis In a and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews, dear friends and a Brother Jamie Gilbert and a Sister Elizabeth Gilbert.
Arrangement by DuBose 703 South Rockwall St Terrell, TX 75160 funeral home 972-524-2421. Services will be held Monday 1/28/2013 at 11am.
