Anna M. Beisel

YORK Mabel Anna (Clayton) Beisel, 81, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Rolland "Whitey" Beisel. She was born December 31, 1938, in Whitby, W.Va., daughter of the late W.H. "Sonny" Clayton and Willia Wooten-Clayton. Anna received her LPN certification at Wise Hospital in West Virginia in 1953. She was a career nurse, retiring from Manor Care North, and had previously worked at York Hospital. Anna is survived by four children, Exaree A. Davidson of Mt. Wolf, Deborah K. Davidson of Oak Lawn, Ill., Donna L. Bonneville of York, and son Rolland and his wife, Christina Beisel of York. She was preceded in death by two sons, Clayton D. Beisel and Terrance H. Mills. She is also survived by four siblings, Richard and his wife, Genevieve Clayton, and Joyce Hollandsworth, all of Forest Hill, W.Va., Teresa Clayton and her companion, Chester Rudisill of Talcott W.Va., and Sheila and her husband, Jim Bolen of York. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Clayton. Services will be private by the family. Following cremation, Anna will be buried at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
