Ben Perry Obituary
Charlotte, N.C.
Ben Hal Perry, 69, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Born July 24, 1942 in Leeds, Ben is the son of the late Agnes Skelton and Hal Perry.
Ben married the love of his life, Janice Limbaugh Perry in 1963 and together they had three beautiful children, He worked as a warehouse manager for McJunkin Corporation for his entire career before retiring in 1990. Ben and Janice moved to Charlotte in 1993 from Decatur. He had a great passion for Nascar and was a huge football fan, especially Alabama.
Visitation will be today from noon to 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home - Weddington Chapel, 3700 Forest Lawn Dr. Matthews, N.C. 28104. A celebration of life service will begin at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn East Cemetery directly across the street.
Survivors include son, Ben Hal Perry, Jr.; daughters, Stacie Perry Bolinger and Dennie Nichole Gardner; and 5 grandchildren, Leah Dennis, Agnes, Stone, Ty and Carly-Mae Gardner. Memorial contributions may be made in Ben's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3300 East Sunrise Dr. Tucson, AZ 85718.
Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel is assisting the Perry family.
