Daniel Ruby Obituary
West York - Daniel S. Ruby, 68, entered into rest Wednesday February 24, 2021 at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Fran L. (Shane) Ruby for 46 years.
A celebration of life service will be announced when it is safe to gather. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., West York, is assisting with the arrangements.
Mr. Ruby was born September 5, 1952 in York, a son of Janice (Shepp) Ruby of Delaware, and the late Clair Ruby. He was employed as a Route Salesperson with Martin's Chips for 32 years. He attended St. Matthew Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing golf and loved his pet dogs.
Dan is survived by his wife; daughters Alicia Danielle Ruby and companion Chris Ness, Kelly Renee Ekeneme and her husband Emmanuel, and Lorraine "Red" Glatfelter; a grandson Kade Austin Warntz; sisters Sydney Parks Ferro and her husband Tony, Lynn Bortner, Christine MacNeil, and Jane Coble; nieces and nephew Ursula Anstadt, Jimmy Venable, Erin Camensky, Tracy Eberwein; and loving extended family. He was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Ruby, and sister Patricia Venable.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

My husband Robert D. and Dan were both Martins Chips Salesman for 32 plus yrs. We attended all Martins Chips activities together over the years with our families. Dan was a wonderful guy and dear friend. Thoughts and prayers for the family during this difficult time.

I m do shocked Dan in your passing. We go way back in Martins Chips with my ex husband Bob Longenecker salesman for Martins Chips. You ve seen our 4 sons grow up. Life is short. You will be sadly missed but knowing you re in a better place gives me peace and comfort. I am so sorry for your family's loss and only wish you thoughts prayers peace and comfort to Dana family and friends. Treasure our memories together.
