Jessica Dellinger Obituary
YORK - Jessica D. (Diehl) Dellinger, 101, of York, formerly of Mount Wolf, passed away at 5:33 AM, Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Spiritrust Lutheran on Kelly Drive in York. She was the wife of the late Irvin A. Dellinger.
Mrs. Dellinger was born May 6, 1919 in Mount Wolf and was the daughter of the late Charles and Vergie (Sipe) Diehl.
In 1938 she graduated from Manchester High School in Manchester. She was employed as a secretary for the York Bank and Trust Company before retiring in 1978. She previously was employed by Superior Box Company in Mount Wolf. Mrs. Dellinger was a member of the former Pine Grove United Methodist Church in York.
Mrs. Dellinger is survived by her sister, Dorothy L. Horner of York and her niece Annette L. Fisher of York and many wonderful nieces and nephews on the Diehl and Dellinger side of the family. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Fay Hess and Esther Brenneman and her brothers, Lee Diehl and Kenneth Diehl.
Services and burial for Mrs. Dellinger will be private December 19, 2020 at the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery in York. Officiating at the service will be her pastor the Reverend Luke Harbaugh.
