I am so sorry to here about MOM. I almost don't know what to say. She was almost like a mom to me in many ways. Growing up with all of you I have very fond memories. Afew that I will never forget, some being around the dinner table and so forth. You all are like the brother and sisters I never had, and Mom, I always considered like my second Mom. My Deepest sympathy goes out to all of you's. Love You All!

Lee and family, I am so very sorry to hear of JoAnn's passing. It was always a pleasure when our paths crossed. We would stand in the Giant parking lot or wherever and talk. I am so glad I got to see her while I was volunteering at the hospital and she was there--gracious as ever.

I am so sorry about your Mother, I've known her for about 25 years and she was such a kind, giving and loving person. I have a lot of fond memories of times we all spent together and will always treasure them. She will be greatly missed.

Wish I had the right words to make all the pain go away. But I know the strength of your family & I know you all will get through this. The fond memories of both of your parents is what life is all about. They are together now & you know your mom is pleased with that & I know your dad was glad to see her. Your family has meant alot to our family over the years & we can thank racing for that. Your mom was a special lady & I will miss seeing her at the Kenny Weld memorial race in Oct. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers.

Thoughts & prayers go out to Lee,Lisa Leslie and family. So sorry to hear about JoAnn. She was a wonderful caring person. We had alot of fun times together at Martins. She talked very highly of all of you. She was very proud of her kids. I always knew I was going to have a fun day when I was scheduled to pack with her. JoAnn knew how to make you feel good about yourself. She truly was an inspiration to me. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

To all of JoAnn's children from Aunt Janet, Scott Lentz. &Tarry and Diane Hoover in Tucson Az. Since our own recent loss of Elaine I know right now you are numb and in total bewilderment over what has happened in your lives. Your life as you know it has changed,may you have the strenght of each other and the love of all your family and friends to comfort and support you in this your time of loss, also may they be around to hold you when you need to cry or listen when you need to talk. Our thoughts and deepest smypthay is with all of you Lee you lost a big supporter in your mother. Lisa you lost more than a mother you lost your best friend and mother. Our thoughts are with you during this sad time.
I especially remember the younger years spent with JoAnn and her family at our Grandma And Grandpa Altland's home. Most Sundays after church we would meet and our Grandma would serve Chicken corn soup and angel food cake.
JoAnn was so sweet and we will always remember her. She will be sorely missed.
