BOWES. - Colin. An inspirational legend amongst many thousands of young people in Frankston and surrounding areas. He loved his cricket and spent a lifetime of dedication and energy ensuring that young boys were given every opportunity to "play the game". Colin was a highly respected leader at Karingal Secondary College with a personal history of notable achievements in Football and Cricket on the Mornington Peninsula. Forever young. The Frankston Secondary Schools Sports Association has sadly lost a great man who has dedicated 40 years to developing junior sport and providing every student in our district with a maximum opportunity to "have a go". He will be greatly missed. Colin's passion, humour, friendship and endless hard work will always be remembered. Deepest sympathies to the Bowes family.

BOWES. - Colin. It is with much sadness that the McClelland College Community farewell our valued and much loved colleague, affectionately known as "Bowesy" by staff and students. Colin has made a unique contribution to our College over a 40 year period. His work in sport and PE areas is the stuff of legends, and he told us that the last few years in the 7 MAX were his "best ever". But nothing mattered more to us than his dedication, enthusiasm and love for our students. Thanks Colin. You were one in a million!
