Lisa L. (Hose) Leaman, 50, entered into rest on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Jeffrey A. Leaman, celebrating 32 years together and married for 23 years.
Lisa was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y. on November 8, 1965 and was a daughter of Jacob W. Hose, Jr. and Patricia J. (Lorenz) Hose of York.
She was a Registered Nurse at W.S.R.H. She was a member of the Shiloh American Legion Post #791, the Country Club of York and Christ Lutheran Church in York. Lisa enjoyed photography, music, swimming, going camping at N-40, and doing crafts. She loved her dogs, but most of all Lisa loved her family and spending time with them.
Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband and parents, are two sons, Jarrett A. and Joseph A. Leaman, both of York; brother, Steven J. Hose and his wife, Lisa of Dallastown; her twin sister, Lori L. (Hose) Becker and her husband, Michael of York; two nieces, Amanda L. and Jamie L. Becker, both of York; a great nephew, Wesley M. Lauchman of York; her father-in-law, Carl W. Leaman, Jr. of York; her brother-in-law, Carl W. Leaman III of Tampa, Fla.; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Tolly J. (Dellinger) Leaman.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Christ Lutheran Church, 29 S. George Street, York, with the Rev. Dr. Alan Watt officiating. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
