Spencer Kubala Obituary
York
Spencer, 22, passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of his home on Friday, January 15, 2016.
Spencer was a member of St. Joseph Church and was in his senior year at West Chester University majoring in Business Administration. Spencer graduated from York Catholic High School in 2012 in a class where he was adored, flourished, and truly brought happiness to us all. Spencer loved basketball, football, lacrosse, and was just taking up golf with his dad, grandfather, and brother-in-law. He thrived in anything he did and had a knack for brightening up any situation with his radiant smile and his loving, caring disposition. He will always be in the hearts of his loving family and friends as well as what he considered to be his very large extended family of York Catholic and West Chester University classmates/peers, teammates, teachers, and those he came in contact with.
Spencer is survived by his grandparents, Charlie and Joyce Campisi, George and Peggy Kubala; his mom and dad, Jackie and Todd Kubala; his siblings, Austin, Danielle, and Andrea; brother-in-law, Doug; niece, Charlie Anne; nephew, Camden; and godson/nephew, Jack; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church, 2935 Kingston Road, and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Lease as celebrant. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., East York, is assisting the family.

Jackie , the Spencer I saw with his friends was a true friend; the Spencer I saw with Brooke all dressed up for the YC dance was a handsome young man and the Spencer I saw on the basketball court with my son was a teammate driven by passion for the game. I didn't really know Spencer that well but I do know that he was kind to everyone. I attended York Catholic while he was at York Catholic and I know that he was a really good kid.
