I remember when I first met Willy at the Long Beach Camp and I was doing a double and he told me Youre so crazy doing this double in beast modes class but make sure as soon as you get home that you eat and replenish yourself. He just really cared and it always showed. He had no biases at all. He just genuinely cared about people.

Billy was a good friend since childhood. We were part of the same skate crew as kids, I shot a lot of pool with him (we were teammates on a couple 9 ball teams), and we played guitars together as well (Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society were his favorites). Far too many memories and stories from this time to list. We got older and I moved away, he moved to Florida, I think for a bit, and then to California. We kept in touch, and would check in on each other periodically. I was really happy to see him, more recently, succeeding as a personal trainer. He certainly had the energy, focus, and talent to be great at it, and he was. We used to talk about getting the old skate crew back together, which unfortunately never panned out. Aside from being the funniest man on the planet, Bill was someone who never hesitated to let his friends know what they meant to him. My thoughts are with his family and friends in this time.
