Donald Theadore Enos

San Antonio - ENOS, Donald Theadore, age 84, of San Antonio, FL passed away surrounded by family at his home on April 4, 2020. He was born on December 8, 1935 at the Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington D.C. to parents Manford Charles Enos & Stella (Hecki).

Donald was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1956. He was honored to receive the South China Sea Award for his dedicated service. Later in life, Donald's military pride still played an active role in his life. He was a member of the VFW in York, PA and the American Legion in Stoystown, PA.

After his military service, Donald began to work for UPS. He was the first employee senior man making a commitment run from Harrisburg to Philadelphia the day before the company opened in Pennsylvania. He continued to work for the company for the next 34 years before retiring in 1994.

Even in retirement, Donald continued his various club memberships and hobbies. He was very interested in cars and was a member of the Pasco Roadrunners.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Devona E. Enos; his parents, Manford Charles Enos & Stella C. Brink; his stepfather, Everett Brink; one sister, Ellen Miller; two brothers, Curtis Enos;: James Brink stepson James Shaffer.

He is survived by one son, Donald T. Enos Jr.; three daughters: Deborah E. Blackburn, Jane E. White, and Linda E. Enos; one brother, Manford Charles Enos Jr.; four stepdaughters: Debra Vogue, Brenda Ness, LeAnn Harris, Karen Mortiz; one stepson, Randy Shaffer; two sisters Margie Joswizk and Beverly Holder; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donald will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. A service with military honors will take place at a later date.
