William Paules Obituary
York
William E. R. Paules, 79, entered into rest on Monday March 5, 2018 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara C. (LeHew) Paules for 56 years. He was born June 22, 1938 in Windsor, the son of the late Moses R. and Louise C. (Ryder) Paules.
He was a 1956 graduate of William Penn High School, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, worked as a journeyman machinist and retired from the Central York School District.
He attended York Bible Church, was a member of Shiloh American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, York Masonic Lodge #266, IOFF Mt. Zion Lodge #74, and the Hawks Gunning Club.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, William is also survived by son, Jonathan W. Paules and wife, Jennifer; three grandsons, Devan Cobb-Bradley, Aiden Paules and Grayson Paules; a sister, Louise A. Bushey; many nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by siblings. Ruth Keener, Moses R. Paules, Jr., Edith M. Spangler and Sydney I. Paules.
A viewing will be 11 to 12 noon Friday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York. At 12 noon there will be military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard followed by the funeral service officiated by the Rev. Darrell Hagler. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the York Bible Church 890 Taxville Rd. York, PA 17408 or to the Wounded Warrior Project at the web site woundedwarriorproject.org

I am sorry for your loss. I have fond memories from the time I spent next to you, when I was seeing Jerry. You were good neighbors to have. God bless and be with you and your family, giving you strength and comfort in the days ahead. God bless Bill's precious soul. He was a good hearted person. Jerry thought the world of him.

Uncle Bill loved to tell me the story about when he was feeding me when I was a baby and I dumped all my mashed potatoes on my head, it made him laugh everytime he told me. I will miss you Uncle Bill.
