Charles Rosselot Obituary

Charles Henry Rosselot passed from us one day short of his 84th birthday while enjoying his favorite hobby and accompanied by his ATV buddies. Charlie was one of those guys that made friends within minutes wherever he went. Charlie was born Dec 24, 1931 in Elyria, Ohio to Doc Roy J and Dorothy Marie Rosselot, the 3rd of 4 sons. The family relocated to Laurel MT in 1942. After serving in the Navy, Charlie worked in several road construction and mechanic positions in Montana and Wyoming. Charlie married Doris Jane Purdy on Feb 8, 1958. They enjoyed 54 years together and raised 4 daughters at their farm in Worden, MT while Charlie worked to retirement at the Conoco refinery. They were active in their church, and antique tractor clubs. In 2004, Doris and Charlie settled in Wellton, AZ. They RV'd around the US and Canada, and spent much of their summers in Montana, 4-wheeling with the MT group of friends.

Preceded in death by Doris in June 2012, his parents, and siblings. Charlie is survived by his daughters Mary Jane Dagel (Tucson, AZ), Ani Gonzalez (Charleston SC), Nancy Rosselot (Bainbridge Island, WA), and Diane Martinson (Kalispell, MT), as well as friend Sherry Mabey, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Charlie will always be known for love of family and fine friends, faith, sense of humor, orderly work shop, and bringing up the rear of the ATV group to ensure no one got lost. If God issues 4 wheelers in heaven, he is there now riding out another trail. A get-together is planned for his friends to share the stories of the trail on Wednesday Dec 30 at his home in Wellton at 12:30. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association at alz.org, or VFW Post 6790, Wellton, AZ, or worthy charity of choice.
