News of Jeff´s passing is truly notice of a great loss to the Yuma community.
It´s not often that a community has the benefit of a person of Jeff´s caliber. One who steps into an important role as a community college teacher and student mentor. Jeff was such a man.
Someone who could make a difference in the future lives of the Electrical program students at Arizona Western College.
A lot of men with Jeff´s experience and knowledge choose to retire and let their lifetime of experience retire with them. Not Jeff.
He invested his time in helping get a high quality electrical training program going in our community. Jeff was a great teacher and a practical person who helped to manage the college´s electrical learning resource lab along with the other instructors. Jeff made a difference.
In my position as the Technical Programs Coordinator at Arizona Western College it was my privilege to observe Jeff working with students. Knowing that they were getting real world training experiences from someone who cared about their future.
They say when a tradesman passes on he takes with him all he knew about the trade. Jeff left a legacy of skills, knowledge, and right behavior in the lives of the students he taught. Because he chose to be a teacher and an example to others.
Our deepest condolences to Jeff´s family in this time of grief.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
KJV: John 14:27
Respectfully
