Brenda, Access Storage

July 19, 2010

I had the honor of meeting this man of God when he came by to clean out his storage and was excited about God making it possible for him to move his family back to CA. He and four other men stopped and prayed on the side of the srteet when they were finished. What a beautiful site. The love that Rudy showed and his peace was amazing. I pray that his family continue to rely on our Heavenly Father for continued strength and know you will see him again totally healed. Glory to God!

I met Rudy over 6 years ago at First Christian Church. We had both been given the same diagnosis. He was going to Mayo in Phoenix and I was going to Scripps in San Diego. We sure did have much talking and comparisons to make. Rudy, quickly became my friend and mentor. I always felt better after we had talked. Now the Lord has taken Rudy home. Please believe me when I say he is right where he wanted to be -- Heaven! His only regret was leaving his family behind, especially Christina, Cassandra, and Jazleen. Rudy was one of the strongest, most gentle man I have ever met. The following Scripture reminds me so much of Rudy: "Be full of joy in the Lord always. I will say it again, be full of joy." Philippians4:4 I will miss Rudy so much but I will always remember his joy and his love for the Lord. "Dear Lord, Thank you for sharing your child Rudy, with all of us. We were truly blessed."
