Brian Anders Obituary
BLUE ROCK: Brian S. Anders, 59, of Blue Rock, passed away January 13, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Brian was born December 27, 1955 in Zanesville the son of Mary (Longfellow) Anders of Philo and the late Harlan S. Anders Jr. who passed away in 2012. Brian worked for Shelly and Sands as a dredge and loader operator for 14 years and he was an avid Nascar fan.
Brian is survived by his wife, Marla (Jones) Anders whom he married September 27, 2005; his mother, Mary Anders; his son, Logan Anders of Colorado Springs, CO; his daughters, Amy J. Fountain of Hopewell, Abbey J. (Joe Richard) Fountain of Glenford and Andrea L. (Levi Smith) Fountain of Philo; and his grandchildren, Avery Shipley, Kenison Richard, Kamlyn Richard and Lynlee Smith.
In addition to his father, Brian is preceded in death by his uncle, Gary B. Anders.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Brian's name to Genesis Hospice, 715 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701.
Visitations will be noon to 1 pm, Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm with Rev. Karen Osborn officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
