Elizabeth Sue Brady

NEW STRAITSVILLE: Elizabeth Sue Brady, 54, of New Straitsville, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at her residence.

She was born November 12, 1961 in Logan, daughter of the late Paul Huey and Patricia Rose Nelson. Elizabeth was married to Aaron Brady, who survives.

Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as making jewelry and gardening. She was studying to be a Jehovah's Witness and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her children, Karianna Butcher of Haysville, Kansas, Layne (Megan Simpson) Brady of New Straitsville and Alex Brady of New Straitsville; grandchildren, Brice and Leland Butcher; brothers, Wayne (Patricia) Nelson of New Straitsville and Travis Nelson of New Lexington; sisters, Sandra (William) Miller of Union Furnace, Linda (Gerald) Ruff of New Straitsville, RuthAnn (Terry) McGrath of Logan, Rebecca (Dennis) Harrod of McConnelsville and Jessie (John) Kullman of Malta; aunt, Michelle (Dean) Wittekind of Logan and sister-in-law, Barb Riley of Santoy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tim Nelson; and son-in-law, Brandon Butcher.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Josh Schenck officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 2-4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Elizabeth Brady to Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, Ohio 43138 to help with expenses.
