Jeffery L. Severance

CAMBRIDGE: Jeffery L. Severance, 50, of Cambridge, died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at his home.

He was born May 15, 1965 in Cambridge, son of the late John Lewis Severance and Pearl Eileen (Christie) Severance.

He was a truck driver with Heartland Trucking for many years.He enjoyed fishing, telling stories and working on cars.

Mr. Severance was a US Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Petra (Rippel) Severance; a son, Simon Lee (Britani) Severance of Midland, Texas; a daughter, Samantha Eileen Severance of Byesville; four brothers, Charles "Chuck" Severance of Cuyahoga Falls, Thomas "Tom" Severance of Illinois, Rodney (Catherine) Severance of Silver Springs, Maryland and Martin "Marty" (Holly) Severance of Muskingum County; two grandchildren, Sasha Severance and ilona Severance

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held Monday (October 26,2015) at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Nortwood Cemetery, Cambridge, with military honors conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
