New Lexington - Jeffrey L. Moyer, Sr., 73 of New Lexington, Ohio died at 5:08 pm on Tuesday, 24, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio. Born April 20, 1947 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Jesse A. (Bea) Moyer and Mary E. O'Brien Moyer (Paul) Leach. He was a Catholic by faith; a glass molder at Anchor Hocking for over 40 years; loved NASCAR, wrestling, Old Milwaukee; silence; Chevrolets; detective shows; his family, grandkids and friends; his dog, Buddy and Judy's dog, Opie. Survived by his longtime fiancé, Judy Groff; sons, Jeffrey (Sheri) Moyer, Todd (Michele) Moyer, Butch Lawson (Tina) and Shannon Moyer; daughters, Judy Ann (Randy) O'Rourke & son, Randy and Angel Bush; grandchildren, Brent and Colin Moyer, Cody Joseph, Jalynn Moyer, Dustin Groff, Josh Hartshorn, Jeffrey Busk, Jr., Jacob Bush, Lilly, Lance and Landry Moyer, Amber and Vanessa O'Rourke; great-grandchildren, Orrin and Bo Moyer, Nevaeh Hartshorn, Aubrielle Devlin, Braiden Nunley, Chase Nunley and Zada Kinney; step-brother, Floyd Thorp. In addition to his parents, preceded in death by step-brothers, Don and Delbert Thorp. Private calling hours and services for his family & friends will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Father Chris Yakkel officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery. Online obituary and register book at www.robertsfuneralhomenewlex.com Covid guidelines will be followed.
