Robert TOWLE Obituary

TOWLE, Robert James

84, of Miami Township, passed away on May 27, 2021, at

Hospice of Dayton. He was born on May 3, 1937, to the late James and Blanche (Clairmont) Towle at Schenectady, NY.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Janet (White) Towle; children, Michelle Towle and Robert Towle Jr; daughter-in-law, Sandra Towle; and grandchildren, Ethan, Evan and Ella Towle.

Robert was a graduate of Hudson Valley Technical Institute and Draper High School in Rotterdam, NY. He was proud of his 37 years of work at NCR where he was in training and management. He instilled the value of hard-work in his

children and approached each day with a pleasant disposition and humor.

Robert was very devout in his Catholic faith and was a member of St. Henry Catholic Parish for over 50 years. Robert was also a member of the Knights of Columbus for 27 years, where he achieved 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Degree. He was a loving and caring husband, an exemplary father, and a wonderful grandfather. He absolutely loved his family and enjoyed spending time fishing with friends and family.

Friends and family may visit from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals &

Receptions, Centerville, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 am on Friday, June 11, 2021, at St. Henry Catholic Parish. A graveside burial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Memory Gardens Cemetery & Memorial Park, Albany, New York.
