Mildred SHEEHAN Obituary

SHEEHAN (nee Bourne), Mildred Marie

91, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 27, 2020, with her daughter by her side. She was born on April 24, 1929, in Waynesville, Ohio, to Morris and Nancy Bourne.

Mildred graduated from Waynesville High School in 1947. She then attended Bowling Green University. She married Richard D. Sheehan on December 27, 1950. They were married 65 years, with Richard passing away September 23, 2015.

Mildred was the administrative secretary at her alma mater, Waynesville High School, from 1957 to 1984. After retiring, she volunteered at Kettering Sycamore Hospital in Centerville, Ohio.

Mildred is survived her daughter, Karen Chandler; grandchildren, Matthew Cornett, Jennah (Jason) McClure, and Emily (Nick) Barbara; great-grandchildren, Davis Cornett, Josie McClure, and Samantha McClure; and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held in 2021, at a later date. Arrangement entrusted to Indiana Funeral Care.
