Jack you were one of a kind. You had the best laugh and smile. I will truly miss you, but I'm glad your with Dorothy now. You and Dorothy were the best aunt and uncle anyone could have. I love you

Dear Family
I was sad to receive the news of Jack’s passing from my sister Sheila. As you all know, Jack and my Dad Henry Valdespino were very dear friends for many many years. The mutual love and respect they had for each other was so beautiful to see. They taught us a lot, men of that era: responsibility, humility, work ethic, how to be frugal and not live beyond our means, and then of course, faith.
I will never forget some of you bringing your Dad to my mom’s 90th birthday party. I marveled at how your Dad was still living his life in spite of some physical challenges. He was still smiling, still laughing, still bringing others joy.
May he rest in peace. Now he and your Mom Dorothy can be together again. And Jack, please say hello to my Dad!

Jack was great and honorable man! He was a great mentor to me! I will forever be indebted to him. I am grateful to have known Jack! I know now that he is heaven with his wife Dorothy! May you two live in love together in Heaven!

We, the Benedictine Sisters are grateful for his service on the Board of St. Benedict Hospital. We closed that ministry in 1985. May he rest in peace.
