I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Beadles. You and your family are in my prayers during this difficult time. I will always remember him welcoming me to Moultrie as if he had known me my whole life. When I would see Mr. Beadles he would always tell me he was glad we came to Moultrie. He will be remember as a man of great accomplishments, but also a man who had compassion and integrity.

Victor Beadles was a rare man. One of those that you rarely come across. An accomplished visionary, yet with the heart of a common man. He loved the lumber industry; he loved the people, he loved the history and embraced the technological advances to move it forward. He loved to talk sports and politics. You could tell in one minute of conversation, that you were in the presence of a man of intellect. He had an authoritative presence about him, yet every afternoon after 5:00 PM he would come down the hall, come into my office and chat for a few minutes. I was always in awe of the vastness of his knowledge. He always asked about my family, he cared about people.
I will be waiting for the sounds of him coming down the hall; sounds that I will no longer hear. He is a friend that I will truly miss. Moultrie has suffered a great loss.
