Darla Welcome Obituary
Penacook, NH - Darla Jean Welcome died very unexpectantly on Friday April 7, 2024. Darla was predeceased by her husband Dean Welcome and father David Randlett Jr. She is survived by her mother Gloria Bressette and Step father Robert of Gilmanton NH her brothers Rev. David Randlett (Shawne) of Laconia, Daniel Randlett (Dasha) of Manchester, Todd Bressette (Deb) of Belmont; Two nephews David Randlett (Dorothy) and Sam Randlett (Dorothy) of Laconia, a Niece Nancy Welcome of Canterbury, a Great Niece Gloria Randlett and Great Nephew David Wesley Randlett of Laconia; several aunts, uncles, cousins. Darla worked for Merrimack County for 33 years. She was a member of Boscawen Congregational Church, The American Legion auxiliary, She was a graduate of Merrimack Valley High School class 1981. Funeral services will be at the Boscawen Congregational Church on Saturday April 20th at 10:00 am.

Darla and I were friends from MCNH. We even had a special group of fellow Pisces and we would all go out every year to celebrate our birthdays. Darla is a forever friend. Her beautiful spirit and radiant smile was a gift to many. Always a confidant who loved to share, but was always a great listener. She truly left her mark here while on this earth. Heartfelt sympathy, prayers for peace and comfort to all her family and friends.

Darla, I knew you first when you worked for payroll with Cindy. We talked nearly everyday. You were kind and was able to answer all my questions about members of SEA. I finally met you in person when you joined the Elks Lodge and my initial judgement about you were correct. You are kind, generous, and fun to hang out with. I am so sad to see Darla´s obituary I came across it looking for a family member that passed away! Darla was a friend and a client and I just loved her! I am still numb from this news!! I know there are no words but she´s with Dean now so there´s comfort in that! I will miss her and that smile and her stories!!

I am so sorry to hear of Darla´s passing. Although we were related, I didn´t meet her until late in life. She was so warm and welcoming and had the most beautiful smile. I loved reading her posts on Facebook and getting to know more about her. I know she will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

There are no words that can express the impact that Darla had on my life and the shock and sorrow of her passing. My deepest sympathy to her family. There was nothing mote important to Darla than her family. She was an amazing person and a true friend of more than 10 years. May we heal in time, but never forget the love and impact she had on each of us.

Darla was an amazing person and my best friend, she had an amazing sense of humor and loved making people smile. If you told her your name, she would be sure to find you on Facebook! Everywhere we went was like a party, laughing, and fun. I was so lucky to share adventures with her, and she will be missed so much. My prayers to the family, she was truly and awesome person.
