Born on October 8, 1930, to the late Ben and Ellen Hamilton in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Judith cherished her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She had a profound love for the outdoors, whether sitting on the front porch, tending to her garden, or delighting in the frequent visits of birds, squirrels, and even baby raccoons whom she lovingly cared for, and fed. Judith loved the Lord and was a member of Mineral Wells Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyte Peyton, her parents, and 9 siblings. Judith leaves behind her son, Terry Peyton; two grandchildren, Terry Chase Peyton and Jessie Hoyte Peyton, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.
