Aaron Gilman Obituary
Portland, OR - Aaron Wentworth Gilman, 54, of Portland, OR, passed away after a brief sickness on May 22, 2024.
Born in Concord, NH on August 9, 1969, Aaron was the beloved son of Roberta Keane Gilman and the late Peter Bruce Gilman. He attended Nottingham Elementary School and Dover High School, Class of 1988.
Aaron is survived by his life partner of 16 years, Miranda Simone Perry, his mother, Roberta Keane Gilman, stepfather, Vito Kasinskas, brothers, Christopher Lewis Gilman and wife, Eileen, Benjamin Keane Gilman and wife, Heatherleigh, niece, Hailey Gilman, nephews, Isaiah Gilman and Robert Gilman, aunts, Judith Keane Rystar and husband, John, Diane Gilman Souther and husband, Charles. Also, his beloved cousins, Glenn Robert Giles and wife, Theresa, and Amy Giles Goding and husband, Scott.
Additionally, Aaron leaves his beloved dog, Amelia, whom he never failed to take walking every day, where they had many adventures.
Aaron celebrated creativity and had an encyclopedic knowledge of musicians, authors, and every type of artistic expression. He would not hesitate to recommend things that evoked emotion or inspired thought.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Aaron at his parents' home in Nottingham, NH on December 1, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
