Mark was a long time, on line, most dear friend of mine. Mark and I shared a passion for ascots.

I got to know Mark when he was serving in Kentucky in the early 2000s and visited him at the retreat house in Easton later on. He was one of those people who never ceased to astound you with his depth, not only of compassion , heart, and devotion but with his many talents: weaving, multi-instrumentalist (organ, harpsichord, piano, you name it - if it had keys, he could play it, and brilliantly. I think that's the thing that most resonates with with me... that he didn't do anything "half way" --- I will miss him dearly. A truly amazing man and servant of God.

In the early 80s, at Bishop Luers HS in Fort Wayne, I was fortunate to have Brother Mark as a teacher. He was an exceptional teacher but more importantly a great man. Amazing memories of him taking us to the Friary to get snacks in the middle of the school day as we acted like we were "starving." We saw his "weaving"skills in action as he made a 3 headed Franciscan costume for a skit we performed Freshman year. Awesome to have such a great Religion instructor and friend in High School. RIP Bro Mark and now you´re reunited with man´s best friend, your dog "Praise!"
