Life is too short to be small. As I read the memorial remembrances I can see that these men lived large and full lives. Short as their lives were. We must remember their sacrifices for freedom. It must be remember that freedom isn't free and these men paid dearly for our little appreciated privileges. To the family I ask that you understand the great price you also have paid. These are my thoughts as I remember my helicopter experiences in Vietnam. May the families except my heartfelt thanks for The Red River 44.

I've never had the pleasure of meeting you. I never knew you existed until today. I was working and came across your guestbook and memoirs when I realized..I wanted to know you, but never got to, I wanted to say hi to you & wish you a good day but never got to, I wanted to see the place in this world where you once stood but I never got to. I wanted to bump into you and your family in grocery store & tell you how cute your kids are but I never got to. So today I will say thank you for your unselfishness, your service. Thank you to your family and friends, your comrades. You are loved even by those you'll never know.

I met LT Vallejo once in kuwait in september, before my unit went to iraq. He said, SGT Vallejo, I turned around and confused, saluted him, and he complimented me on my name. We talked for a min and parted ways, a couple of months later someone pointed out his name to me on an old army times. i realized that it was the same person i had talked to those short minutes. he was a genuinely nice down to earth person. my condolences to his family.

A Soldier had die out on the

Broken hearts are weeping For
Them,

But take comfort of knowing
that God had sent Them a
rainbow from heaven;

The Souls of the Soldiers
have gone to there home

Our Loved One's has follow
God's lovely rainbow in the

All the way to the end of the

That leads all the way to the
other end of the Lord's

So just keep on praying and
trust that God will send us

To the family and parents of Robert I want you to know that you are not alone in the grief you are feeling. I too know what you are going through and what you will go through in the coming weeks and months ahead. You will have many questions as to why? You will have many things to get ready or go through and that should be done in time. Sometimes it just can’t be faced and that’s ok, for you will know when the time is right for you. There is no right or wrong way to grieve it’s an individual journey that unfortunately we now have to take. I ask that God give the comfort, strength and courage that you are going to need. When and if the time is right for you please contact me. You can cry, vent, or just talk as only another person who has been where you are can really know what you are going through. May God continue to be with you and heal you

Prayer for Peace

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen

Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I’m home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I’m only a civilian
And I don’t even know if it’s allowed.

But I salute you; allow me the honor

In my life there have only been a few individuals I have befriended as quickly as Robert. From the first time I met him I could tell he was a very genuine person. Robert, we are so excited that you and Hillary will have a lil man running around. God took you, and will send us your legacy. When we tell lil Robert about you, we will describe you as a thoughtful, kind, outgoing, amazing, intelligent, and hillarious man. You not only make our family proud, but you make our country proud. We are blessed to have known such an amazing person. Not only were you a wonderful husband, but you were a leader and a soon to be father. We keep thinking about all of the fun times that we all had together! Hillary and I laughed when we talked about last New Year's Eve when you were telling Brandon about a new gadget that you got from Hillary. Or, the New Year's before that when you wrapped a Texas A&M flag around your head and put a waxing mit on your hand. Also, later you used a permanent marker to write Tony a message on his forehead. These are only a few times that we thought back on, but there were many more that we will savor forever. Oh, and Brandon promises to get the yard together & fix that poor, leaning tree. You are one Horned Frog that we just adored. We are so proud of Hillary, Robert. She has been so strong. Thank you for keeping an eye on everyone. We know that you are not physically here anymore, but you are in spirit. When lil Robert Cale gets here, we will see another amazing man in training. This is not goodbye. We will see you again, and please tell them to open the gates for us! We love you more than you will ever know!

I will honor our plans by keeping you in my heart forever, and ensuring Hillary and little Robert stay close to our family.

Hillary and Family,
It was an honor to have Robert be part of the Pulte Family. From his first interview until the time he left for the tour...Robert was professional, appreciative, focused, and hardworking. He worked hard for his family and took much pride in creating and representing his legecy.

Robert has an extended family at Pulte and our hearts go out to you. Please know that we would be honored to help now or in the future - we are only a call away.

With Prayers,
Vickie Parker

Miss you bro. You were always a great friend; when we were kids, high school and after. You and your family will always be in my prayers. Congrats on your little boy. He will remember you as a hero. Thanks for always being there and serving our country with honor, and dying for the freedoms we take for granted on a daily basis. Forever in my heart.
