Dora Whitmore Creed

CREED, Dora Whitmore, age 85, of Richmond, died August 30, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Creed. She is survived by her son, Harry A. Creed; three brothers, David Wayne Whitmore, Kenneth Jackson Whitmore, and Morris Edward Whitmore; a sister, Hazel Whitmore Cole; numerous sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Her remains rest at Bliley's - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following church that she was a devoted and loved member of, Oak Grove Baptist Church, 3801 Beulah Road, Richmond, Va. 23237.
