Delma Carter Haynes

HAYNES, Delma Carter, 90, of West Point, Va., died Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Her husband, Ellis Haynes, of 61 years, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Harriet and David Crowther of Kilmarnock; a son and his wife, Bryant and Sandy Haynes of West Point; two grandchildren, Carter Bender and Ross Haynes. A graveside service will be held Thursday, 2 p.m., in the Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery, Shanghai, Va. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va.
