Ruth Wyatt

WYATT, Ruth, 90, went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2008, in Flushing Medical Center in Flushing, N.Y. She was born on May 16, 1918 in Sussex County, Va. She was predeceased by her husband, Percy Lewis. Left cherishing her memory are four sisters, Cassie Wyatt of Brooklyn, N.Y., Magnolia Lee of Petersburg, Va., Louise Odom and Virginia Greene of Richmond, Va.; three brothers, John Wyatt of Stony Creek, Fred Wyatt (Martha) and Charles Wyatt (Gloria) of Jarratt, Va.; aunt, Beatrice Wyatt; devoted niece, Brenda J Jefferson of Laurelton, N.Y.; and host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, 1:30 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Jarratt, Va. Rev. Colonious Avent officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
