Dear Betty and family,
My heart felt a great loss when I heard about the passing of Russ. He was such a dear man. He always had a kind word and a ready laugh or a funny story to tell. I loved listening to him recant something from his past. It was a gift from God that I ran into you two a few weeks ago and we were able to spend quite awhile catching up with what was going on in our lives. I know this is a very difficult time for your family, but rest assured that there are many people who are keeping you in their prayers. I will pray for Russ' salvation everyday along with the many people who have passed away in my own family. Betty, you were given a beautiful gift in your marriage to Russ, count yourself blessed and treasure your memories. I will call on you in a few days.
With all my love to you and your family.
