William will always be known to me as part of the back bone of Broadus. He and his family have been devoted members. He will be missed by many people. William is now enjoying what he has worked for; eternal life. I am thankful that he was a part of my life during my years at Broadus. May God's love fill all of you during this sad time. Sorry I just found this out.
God bless,
Kim Atkins

For the rest of my life, I will remember his constant smile. You could not walk down the halls of Broadus without seeing William Longest with a big smile on his face. My prayers are with Elizabeth, Daniel, Adam, and all the other Longests.

I remember William very well when we were preteens, playing games and collecting cereal trade marks for prizes during the depression. I remember his dad, a fireman, his sisters and brothers Brian and Herbert. Life passes so fast. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Bill was my first boss, when I worked at Philip Morris in the early '70's while still in college, and he set the standard for managing with humor and encouragement. Sorry for your loss.
