My deepest sympathy for the family's loss in Sarah. She was the kindest of hostesses to us, the children's guests, when we visited them in Arvonia. I particularly loved her passion about anything related to Monticello and to music. My thoughts and prayers will be with Eve and the family during the coming days.

Please accept our deepest sympathy. Sarah was a delightful lady and I know she is with our Lord. My husband solved the break in at her home many years ago when he was a Deputy in Buckingham. Eva, you would remember me as Barbara Toney. My father was a shoe repairer in Dillwyn and your Mom was a customer. We live in Jacksonville Florida now.
