Truhlar Sr., 78, veteran of Korean Conflict US Navy, beloved husband of Marsha, nee Kraus; loving father of Karen (Steve) Townsend, James Jr., (Debra), Kenneth, and Kevin (Jenny); special pa of Kevin Jr.; dear grandfather of four; dearest brother of Martha "Dolly" Goss, Connie (Lee) Vanoni, Robert (Marian) Truhlar, and the late Frances Tyk, and Dorothy Vacik; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of Darien VFW Post # 2838. Funeral Wednesday, 8:45 a.m., from Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7000 S. Madison, Willowbrook to Our Lady of Peace Church, Darien, for 9:30 a.m. funeral mass. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 3 to 9 p.m. Info., 630-325-2300.
