EDWARD SUSALLA Obituary
Of Turtle Creek, age 83, on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Wimpy was a WW II Navy veteran and a retired bricklayer. He was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Crafts Union, Local #9. Beloved husband of Eva (Bradich) Susalla of 57 years. Loving father of Marie Grill, of Turtle Creek, Karen (Tom) Carberry, of California, Sandy (Robb) Hamill of Michigan, Eddie (Renee) Susalla of Plum, John (Sharon) Susalla of Turtle Creek and Rachel (Anthony) Patalsky, of North Huntingdon. Grandfather of Matthew, Patrick, Erin, Jackie, Eddie, Matthew, Tim, Andy, Emma, Jake, Alaina, Hannah, Nicholas and the late Jimmy Grill. Friends welcome Tuesday 1-4 & 6-8 PM in the PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME 700 Linden Avenue at Cable, East Pittsburgh 412-824-8800. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Colman Church on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Burial with military honors will follow at Braddock Catholic Cemetery.

Funny thing...I was just thinking of Wimpy on Friday after I passed a finely bricked camp in the middle of no-where while driving through Elk County. It's hard to believe 10 years has passed but so many things are hard to believe as I age. I'm so glad I got to enjoy Wimp and his railroad jokes for a few short years...he was a fine & humorous man. May he continue to Rest In Peace! God Bless all of the Susalla family!!
