It sadden my heart and I can't hold back the tears every 3rd Sunday when Zoie is singing in the choir swaying from side to side and I look back expecting to see "CC" smiling and clapping, but knowing he is smiling and clapping from above turns my tears into smiles. May his memories continue to keep you SMILING.

I live across the street from Cedric's cousin, but our paths rarely cross. They crossed today. I am shocked and saddened beyond words. I worked with Cedric for four years, and he was as fine an individual as I have EVER had the pleasure to know. He was a hard worker, a team player, and always good company. I have only seen him once since we stopped working together six years ago, but even today he remains an indelible impression. I hope his parents can take comfort in the pride that they raised an EXCEPTIONAL human being. I never got to meet Carla, but he spoke of her often. I wish her and Zoie and all the family all the peace and comfort they can possibly find in this impossible tragedy. Goodbye, my friend. I will always remember you fondly.

Cee Cee was an all-around wonderful and fun loving person that touched so many lives, and no matter when he was called on for his electrical expertise, he would find a way to fit you into his busy work schedule. This is so difficult but GOD will see you through it family. We love and miss Cee Cee.

I was truly saddened to hear of CeCe passing. I kept remember all the times that we talked and laugh together at church. CeCe was handsome inside and outside. It was truly a blessing for me to have known him. I remember when he got married, he was so happy and in love with Carla they were a breath of fresh air each time I saw them. And when Carla was pregnant with Zoie he really lit up!!! CeCe was a sharp dresser and there was not going to be any difference for his daughter. One day they came to church and his 2 year old baby had on a little fur coat! Carla, my heart goes out to you and Zoie and you will continually be in my prayers. I know he will always be in you and Zoie’s heart. He loved his family and will continue to watch over you in heaven! Alton, I know your going through right now that your brother is gone. Be strong as you can for your Dad but especially your Mother. CeCe soar high with your wings Boo and tell my Daddy I love him! Love you too Boo!

Cee was more than my cousin-in-law. He was truly my friend. He was a mentor to my sons and many other young men. He was a honorable husband and father.
I always appreciated and respected that he was the type of person that spoke his mind. You always knew what he thought and felt.
