Phyllis M. Bauer

Bauer, Phyllis M. age 80, of St. Louis Park, on November 3. Preceded in death by husband, Albert, father, Anton Werlinger, mother, Rose, and brothers, Dennis and Ray. She is survived by son, Ronald (Melanie) Bauer, Fargo, ND, daughter, Colette (William) Bartkowski, Edina, son, Robert (Colleen) Bauer, St. Paul, and son, Patrick (Pamela) Bauer, Bedford, NH, and five granddaughters and three grandsons. She is also survived by seven brothers and three sisters. Phyllis grew up in Napoleon, ND, and married Albert Bauer in 1953. When Albert owned and operated Bauer's Body Shop in Napoleon, she was the bookkeeper. After Al sold the business in 1977 and began a career at Farmer's Union Insurance, the family moved to Jamestown, ND and then Denver, CO, where she worked as a bookkeeper, before the couple retired to the Twin Cities in 1992. Al died in 2011 and Phyllis spent her last two years enjoying her family and spending time with her many friends in the Twin Cities and at Park Shore Senior Campus. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 7th, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel at 1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343. The funeral service is Friday, November 8th at 10:30 am at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, St. John the Evangelist Campus, 6 Interlachen Road, Hopkins, MN 55343, with interment scheduled for 1:30 pm at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
